Tour of artist Rick Broome's studio:
An interest count to take a tour of the man who created the class of 1984 print, is a great friend of the class, and who's studio houses a 727 aircraft. Located near the Broadmoor, Rick and Billie have graciously offered to open their home to our class. Rick has a spectacular display of aviation art and models which may be purchased. The studio is maintained through sales and donations. Whether you are attending alone, or bringing your family, this is a special opportunity.
Tour of the World War II aviation Museum in Colorado Springs:
And interest count in going to the World War II aviation Museum at the Colorado Springs Airport. We will have a group rate for tickets based on interest count. (About $10).
Women's hike (Friday Morning)
Wake up and go for a hike up Stanley Canyon (or other local trail) or hike the Air Force Academy. Approximately a 3 mile hike round trip to enjoy all the beauty and scenery during our reunion.
Orientation rides with the Aero Club
An interest count for 30 minute orientation rides to tour the Front Range with the USAFA Aero Club. We will have a plane dedicated for our class during the reunion. (Still working on a C172 flyby for the game :)
Sunday Brunch at the Falcon Club, etal
Enjoy brunch at the Falcon Club (formerly the Officer's Club), the Broadmoor or one of the local restaurants.
Sunday afternoon golf @ Eisenhower
There are a limited number of tee times at Eisenhower available on Sunday. Let us know if you have any interest.
